Audiorista for Android version 1.31.2 is now available to all customers.
This release makes your branded Android app smaller and more efficient, and brings its playback behaviour closer to the iPhone app, so listeners get the same experience on both platforms.

We have optimised how the Audiorista Android app is built. The build process now strips out code the app never uses, compacts the code that remains, and removes images and files that are no longer needed.
As a result, the app is now much smaller to download. Depending on your configuration, it can be as little as a third of its previous size, and it uses less storage on your listeners' phones.

When you are working to turn visitors into app users, every bit of friction you remove during installation helps.
When a listener swipes your app away from the recent-apps screen, playback now stops completely. Audio stops, any Chromecast session ends, and the media notification disappears.
This matches how the app already works on iPhone, so your listeners get the same behaviour whichever device they use.
We have also made the listening queue more robust. It now handles repeated titles, background restarts, and empty queues more reliably, and waits for a connection before starting playback when a listener is offline.
